I’ve been working with my oldest, who is 5, on phonics this year. I’ve been struggling to figure out whether the difficulty he’s having is just a lack of interest/effort, or something deeper, and I’ve noticed that most early reader books are actually too difficult for his level. I just requested this one from the library!
